Community Initiative for Social and Economic Development
You are The Change, Community Initiative for Social and Economic Development (CISED) is a registered non-profit organization that is committed to the wholistic transformation of societies through improving lives and expanding opportunities for women, men, girls, and boys; internally displaced, refugees and people living with disabilities and other marginalised groups. Our work is focused on three(3) themes: Education, Gender equity and human rights, and Environment & climate change adaptation. Headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia, CISED works through its network across the country with governmental authorities, the private sector and civil society Organization partners to transform lives of marginalized communities.
Our Programs/Thematic Area
We are committed to promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) among adolescents.
We believe that no child should be forced to study outside, or in a dangerous environment. With access to a good education, children can escape poverty.
Climate Smart Agriculture: We strengthen community empowerment and leadership in climate-resiliency.
